Chairmaker’s Devil’s, Making I had recently taken some old spokeshave blades and built new bodies for them. I had also made a spokeshave using the kit from Lee Valley. It seemed to me that the skills I learned doing that would easily transfer to making chair devils. In practice I found this to be true, in fact, in my opinion, making the chair devils was as easy as making a spokeshave.
