Jig, Tenoning Platform The tenoning platform is simple to make, and you will be able to screw one together in just a few minutes. It is so easy to make, in fact, that you may just toss it after a job is completed. Next tenoning job, you’ll just make a new one. You can easily tailor the jig to a special job. Make it wide enough to accommodate two workpieces, for example.

Jig, Tenon, Micro Adjustment on a homemade One of jigs I use quite a lot is a homemade tenon jig. Basically a tenon jig is just a fixture to hold a board parallel with the blade. Most of the tenon jigs available commercially ride in a miter gauge slot, while many of the homemade designs ride against the fence like this one. This free woodworking plans and projects page is an archive of a woodworkers DIY plan, original information courtesy of the FWI web site.

Jig, Tenoning Sled You make it from a few scraps of wood, a carriage bolt, t-nut, and screws. The wood doesn’t need to be prime in appearance, though it is always sensible to use stable, straight-grained stock. You probably can get all the wood from your collection of off-cuts. Assemble it with care, because...

Jig, Tenon - for Router Table The router table is one of my most favorite tools in the workshop. A lot of people don’t realize what a great job the router table does cutting tenons. Before I made this jig I used to use the standard miter gauge to cut tenons then I saw this simple jig featured by Pat Warner in FineWoodworking magazine.
