Rack, Coat Nice rack! A one board shaker peg coat rack featuring chip carving. Most Canadian residences are closet- underprovided. Solve this chronic rack-lack by making your own pegged coat rack. You can give it a carved, antiqued finish and add character by milk-painting it first. Then, as you carve, the warm honey colour of the wood contrasts with the paint finish.

Rack, Coat This coat rack is one of the simpler projects that we have featured in Amateur Woodworker. It was designed to fit in a small hallway and had to accommodate both coats and the usual paraphernalia such as gloves and hats (hence the shelf).
