Potters Bench When we are not pecking away at the computer sharing our passion with you via this column, we spend time as the home improvement editors on television. Recently, our producer asked us to come up with a project that would be fun to build, be useful in the garden and would not cost an arm and a leg. Bingo! Potting Bench This is a link to a Google 3D SketchUp drawing for a gardeners potting bench made from 2 X 4s connected together with glued mortise and tenon joints. You will need the SketchUp software to download this drawing and its freely available online. We do not provide support for this software. Not all drawings have the measurements displayed but you can use the measurement tool in SketchUp to easily and accurately determine the dimensions of each lumber part. Most drawings do not have instructions, its assumed you can build it based on the completed drawing provided.
