Base, Optional - for Blanket Chest (PDF)
Australian Woodsmith is a practical magazine for all woodworkers. From Issue 33. The bracket feet that I put on the blanket chest are really distinctive, but this simpler, ogee base makes a great alternative. It is just a mitred frame that is set in 8mm from the edges of the bullnose base frame.

What I want to do in the next few weeks here, is to make a blanket chest that has some features that are made possible by tools and jigs that I have here in my shop. They are not new to you. Primarily, I want to use the Incra Ultra Jig to do the corners of the chest using the template for the corner post double double dovetail.
